ᅟᅟ[[note0#001|被我這麼聽聞]]:
ᅟᅟ[[note0#002|有一次]],[[note0#012|世尊]]住在舍衛城祇樹林給孤獨園。
ᅟᅟ當時,有某位女婆羅門的兒子名叫梵天,在世尊的面前[[note0#048|從在家出家成為無家者]]。
ᅟᅟ那時,住於單獨的、隱離的、不放逸的、熱心的、自我努力的[[note2#200|尊者]]梵天不久就以證智自作證後,在當生中[[note0#066|進入後住於]]凡[[note0#041|善男子]]們為了利益正確地從在家出家成為無家者的那個無上梵行結尾,他證知:「[[note0#018|出生已盡]],[[note0#019|梵行已完成]],[[note0#020|應該被作的已作]],[[note0#021|不再有此處[輪迴]的狀態]]。」然後尊者梵天成為眾[[note0#005|阿羅漢]]之一。
ᅟᅟ那時,尊者梵天午前時穿衣、拿起衣鉢後,[[note0#087|為了托鉢]]進入舍衛城。
ᅟᅟ當在舍衛城[[note1#127|為了托鉢次第地行走著]]時,來到自己母親住處。當時,尊者梵天的母親女婆羅門,常高舉對梵天(神)的供奉。那時,[[note2#215|梵王娑婆主]]想這個:
ᅟᅟ「這位尊者梵天的母親女婆羅門,常高舉對梵天的供奉,讓我去見她後激起她的[[note3#373|急迫感]]。」
ᅟᅟ那時,梵王娑婆主就猶如有力氣的男子伸直彎曲的手臂,或彎曲伸直的手臂,就像這樣在梵天世界消失,出現在尊者梵天的母親住處。
ᅟᅟ那時,梵王娑婆主站在空中,對尊者梵天的母親女婆羅門以[[note2#281|偈頌]]說:
ᅟᅟ「女婆羅門!梵天世界是在離這裡的遠處,你常高舉對該者的供奉,
ᅟᅟᅟ女婆羅門!梵天的食物不是這樣的,不知道梵天之路的你祈禱嗎?
ᅟᅟᅟ女婆羅門!確實你的這位梵天,是無[[note1#198|依著]]者、到達超越天神者,
ᅟᅟᅟ無所有的、無養育其他者的[[note0#031|比丘]],他為了托鉢已進入你家。
ᅟᅟᅟ應該被供養者、明智者、[[note6#658|已自我修習]]者,以及應該被天與人供養者,
ᅟᅟᅟ拒斥諸惡後不被染著者,已清涼者對食物的尋求行動。
ᅟᅟᅟ他沒有前後[^1],寂靜者、無煙者、無惱亂者、離願望者,
ᅟᅟᅟ在懦弱者與堅強者上放下棍棒者,請他吃你供奉的最上食物。
ᅟᅟᅟ成為無敵(離軍團)者、心寂靜者,行如已調御的、無擾動的龍象,
ᅟᅟᅟ善戒的、心[[note0#028|善解脫]]的比丘,請他吃你供奉的最上食物。
ᅟᅟᅟ在他上[[note3#340|淨信地]]、不動搖地,請你建立供養物在應該被供養者上,
ᅟᅟᅟ請你作未來安樂的福德:女婆羅門!看見渡過[[note3#369|暴流]]的[[note1#125|牟尼]]後。」
ᅟᅟ「在他上淨信地、不動搖地,她建立供養物在應該被供養者上。
ᅟᅟᅟ她作未來安樂的福德:女婆羅門看見渡過暴流的牟尼後。」

[SN6.3](SN0174)/(3). Brahmadevasuttaṃ
ᅟ 174. Evaṃ me sutaṃ– ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā sāvatthiyaṃ viharati jetavane anāthapiṇḍikassa ārāme. Tena kho pana samayena aññatarissā brāhmaṇiyā brahmadevo nāma putto bhagavato santike agārasmā anagāriyaṃ pabbajito hoti.
ᅟ Atha kho āyasmā brahmadevo eko vūpakaṭṭho appamatto ātāpī pahitatto viharanto nacirasseva– yassatthāya kulaputtā sammadeva agārasmā anagāriyaṃ pabbajanti, tadanuttaraṃ brahmacariyapariyosānaṃ diṭṭheva dhamme sayaṃ abhiññā sacchikatvā upasampajja vihāsi. “Khīṇā jāti vusitaṃ brahmacariyaṃ, kataṃ karaṇīyaṃ, nāparaṃ itthattāyā”ti abbhaññāsi. Aññataro ca panāyasmā brahmadevo arahataṃ ahosi.
ᅟ Atha kho āyasmā brahmadevo pubbaṇhasamayaṃ nivāsetvā pattacīvaramādāya sāvatthiṃ piṇḍāya pāvisi. Sāvatthiyaṃ sapadānaṃ piṇḍāya caramāno yena sakamātu nivesanaṃ tenupasaṅkami. Tena kho pana samayena āyasmato brahmadevassa mātā brāhmaṇī brahmuno āhutiṃ niccaṃ paggaṇhāti Atha kho brahmuno sahampatissa etadahosi– “ayaṃ kho āyasmato brahmadevassa mātā brāhmaṇī brahmuno āhutiṃ niccaṃ paggaṇhāti. Yaṃnūnāhaṃ taṃ upasaṅkamitvā saṃvejeyyan”ti. Atha kho brahmā sahampati – seyyathāpi nāma balavā puriso samiñjitaṃ vā bāhaṃ pasāreyya, pasāritaṃ vā bāhaṃ samiñjeyya evameva– brahmaloke antarahito āyasmato brahmadevassa mātu nivesane pāturahosi. Atha kho brahmā sahampati vehāsaṃ ṭhito āyasmato brahmadevassa mātaraṃ brāhmaṇiṃ gāthāya ajjhabhāsi–
ᅟ “Dūre ito brāhmaṇi brahmaloko, yassāhutiṃ paggaṇhāsi niccaṃ.
ᅟ Netādiso brāhmaṇi brahmabhakkho, kiṃ jappasi brahmapathaṃ ajānaṃ.
ᅟ “Eso hi te brāhmaṇi brahmadevo, nirūpadhiko atidevapatto.
ᅟ Akiñcano bhikkhu anaññaposī, yo te so piṇḍāya gharaṃ paviṭṭho.
ᅟ “Āhuneyyo vedagu bhāvitatto, narānaṃ devānañca dakkhiṇeyyo.
ᅟ Bāhitvā pāpāni anūpalitto, ghāsesanaṃ iriyati sītibhūto.
ᅟ “Na tassa pacchā na puratthamatthi, santo vidhūmo anigho nirāso.
ᅟ Nikkhittadaṇḍo tasathāvaresu, so tyāhutiṃ bhuñjatu aggapiṇḍaṃ.
ᅟ “Visenibhūto upasantacitto, nāgova danto carati anejo.
ᅟ Bhikkhu susīlo suvimuttacitto, so tyāhutiṃ bhuñjatu aggapiṇḍaṃ.
ᅟ “Tasmiṃ pasannā avikampamānā, patiṭṭhapehi dakkhiṇaṃ dakkhiṇeyye.
ᅟ Karohi puññaṃ sukhamāyatikaṃ, disvā muniṃ brāhmaṇi oghatiṇṇan”ti.
ᅟ “Tasmiṃ pasannā avikampamānā, patiṭṭhapesi dakkhiṇaṃ dakkhiṇeyye.
ᅟ Akāsi puññaṃ sukhamāyatikaṃ, disvā muniṃ brāhmaṇī oghatiṇṇan”ti.
